Gasoline retail prices up for second time since mid March
Retail prices of gasoline in Vietnam increased by VND1,090-1,120 ($0.05) per liter on Tuesday, the second hike after a drop on March 21, while the diesel oil price went up by VND710 ($0.03).

RON 95-III gasoline went up to VND24,240 ($1.03) per liter, while E5 RON 92 hit VND23,170 ($0.99).
Diesel oil climbed by VND710 to VND20,140 ($0.86), but kerosene fell by VND700 to VND19,730 ($0.84) a liter.
For this price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to maintain the level of deductions from different types of oil for the national gasoline price stabilization fund.
Consumer prices in March fell 0.23% from February, the General Statistics Office said. The reasons are food prices falling due to ample supply, and gasoline and gas prices decreasing in line with world fuel prices.
Average consumer prices in the first quarter of this year rose 4.18% from a year earlier.
