Many young people made chocolate themselves at the Alluvia Chocolate Cafe, 74B Le Loi street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City as gifts for their beloved on occasion of the Valentine's Day, February 14.

Others chose to buy chocolate products designed in sets (boxes of six, eight, or 18 pieces), added Nguyen Ngoc Diep, CEO of the Alluvia Chocolatier brand.

“Since February 8, we have received many orders to deliver to provinces around HCMC, Hanoi, and Hoi An town. In particular, our chocolate-making workshop is always full of customers. Compared to last year, sales and the number of workshop participants have nearly doubled," Diep noted.

The price of chocolate workshop participation is VND500,000 ($19.63) per person. The package includes a glass of water, a chocolate bar, and one box of six praline pieces.

Within 60 minutes, participants will explore the world of chocolate and learn about premium chocolate and unique chocolate fillings. They then experience professional chocolate making and get step-by-step instructions on how to pour chocolate into molds perfectly.

After that, they unleash their creativity and choose from over 10 diverse fillings, from the richness of white chocolate sauce to the slight sourness of lemon. And then, they decorate and turn chocolate into your own unique masterpiece.

“This is not just a gift, it is the sweetest thing I will send to my boyfriend this Valentine's season,” Lam, a participant, told The Investor.

Alluvia now operates 10 stores, including three in Hanoi, two in Hoi An, two in Da Nang, one in Nha Trang, and two in HCMC. Alluvia also operates a tourism site in the southern province of Tien Giang.
