Hong Kong-invested firm unveils readymade factory, warehouse in northern Vietnam
Gaw NP Industrial is building a 16-hectare readymade factory and warehouse facility in Ha Nam province near Hanoi to meet rising demand for manufacturing and storage facilities.
The company is a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based real estate private equity fund management firm Gaw Capital.
The GNP Dong Van 3 Industrial Center is funded by Gaw NP Capital, a $200 million platform backed by Gaw Capital Partners and NP Capital Partners, a real estate firm in Vietnam, Gaw NP Industrial announced Wednesday.
Gaw NP Industrial is the industrial developer arm of Gaw NP Capital.
Situated in the Dong Van 3 Industrial Park, the new center provides state-of-the-art industrial facilities to meet increased storage and production needs. The center can be used by businesses needing a minimum of 2,500 square meters of factory space or 9,100 square meters of warehouse space.
The readymade factory and warehouse facility features advanced fire prevention and fighting systems and completely open factory floor plans with no internal columns, in order to maximize operation capacity in manufacturing, according to Gaw NP Industrial.
“Tenants can also rely on all-in-one supporting facilities such as wide internal roads, 24/7 camera surveillance and on-duty security personnel, a truck court, a spacious parking area, and an integrated sewage treatment plant,” the developer said in a release.
The site has the distinctive advantage of strategic positioning at the heart of the north-central region. It provides convenient access to major routes, including National Highway 1A, Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Expressway, National Highway 38, and the North-South Expressway.
It takes less than 45 minutes to reach Reaching Hanoi’s central business district, 80 minutes to the Noi Bai International Airport, and 120 minutes to the port city of Hai Phong.
GNP Dong Van 3, scheduled for handover in the fourth quarter, will cater to rising demand driven by the supply chain of neighboring industry leaders like Honda, YKK, Wistron, Qisda, Seoul Semiconductor and other manufacturers from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.
Meanwhile, Vietnam is witnessing a wave of business and investment expansion by Korean companies with the impetus provided by the 205-strong business mission accompanying South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol on his June 22-24 visit to the country, aiming to boost bilateral economic and trade ties.
Yoon’s entourage included Samsung Electronics executive chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group executive chairman Euisun Chung, LG Group chairman Koo Kwang-mo, Lotte Group chairman Shin Dong-bin, and other top Korean business figures.
