JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa in Phu Quoc Island off the southern province of Kien Giang will organize a Sustainable Culinary Week where gastronomy and sustainability converge.

The event promises to tantalize the tastebuds and ignite a passion for environmentally conscious dining, the resort said in a release.

Hosted against the backdrop of Khem Beach on Phu Quoc Island, this gastronomic extravaganza will showcase a curated selection of the finest sustainable dishes crafted by renowned chefs dedicated to preserving the planet while delighting palates.

From sea- and farm-to-table delicacies to innovative plant-based creations, every bite tells a story of ethical sourcing, responsible practices, and unparalleled flavor.

Guests will have the opportunity to savor exquisite dishes prepared with ethically sourced, organic ingredients, complemented by a selection of premium wines, creative cocktails, and artisanal beverages that embody the spirit of sustainability.

The event will take place from June 6-10, 2024. Each food and beverage outlet will showcase its exclusive and innovative culinary delights. The all-day dining extravaganza at Tempus Fugit will serve up a mesmerizing fusion of Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and international dishes, curated by talented chefs from the resort’s resident chefs and guest chefs from JW Marriott Bangkok and Khao Lak.

At Red Rum, the beachfront restaurant will entice with a unique blend of Latin American and Japanese cuisine, showcasing delicacies like An Thoi Shrimp Maki and Phu Quoc Cobia Sashimi.

For a truly indulgent affair, Pink Pearl will elevate fresh, local ingredients with a refined French twist, offering a 7-course set dinner complemented by expertly crafted cocktails. Meanwhile, at French & Co., guests will be able to delight in a sustainable-themed afternoon tea featuring locally inspired petite delicacies.

Wrapping up the culinary adventure, the Department of Chemistry Bar will dazzle with inventive cocktails infused with home-grown herbs and plants created by a guest bartender from JW Marriott Hanoi, accompanied by the melodic tunes of the resident live band – promising an unforgettable dining escapade at the beach front resort.

Furthermore, guests will be able to dive into the vibrant tapestry of Phu Quoc's local culture through a series of enriching experiences. Explore the island's agricultural wonders on chef-guided tours to local honeybee farms, pepper plantations, and the iconic fish sauce village.
