Korean association eyes $50 mln labor safety training facility in northern Vietnam
The Korea Safety Education Association plans to build a labor safety training facility in the northern province of Ha Nam with a minimum investment of $50 million.
A delegation from the association including Park Noh Wan, former South Korean ambassador to Vietnam; Park Hang-Seo, former coach of Vietnam’s national football team; and association president Jung Sung Ho delivered the proposal to Nam Dinh authorities Wednesday.

The 20-hectare facility aims to become the biggest of its kind in Vietnam and provide labor safety training in fire fighting, occupational safety, industrial safety and other related activities, said Park Noh Wan. He urged Ha Nam province to facilitate the investment.
Welcoming the project, Truong Quoc Huy recommended suitable locations including the Nam Cao University campus area and several industrial parks. He also asked relevant provincial agencies to support the project’s progress.
