For the fourth consecutive year, Carlsberg Vietnam, together with its beloved Huda brand, proudly stood as a sponsor of the VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025.

More than just a partnership, this enduring collaboration reflects a deep-rooted connection with Central Vietnam - Huda’s homeland - and its steadfast commitment to nurturing well-being, both within the local community and across its organization.

A legacy of care, a spirit of the central region

Held on April 6, the VnExpress Marathon Hue 2025 brought together over 12,000 runners from across the country, weaving through the ancient capital’s historic landmarks and cultural sites. Along the route, Carlsberg Vietnam and Huda’s presence was unmissable, energizing the atmosphere with music, cheering stations, exclusive gifts, and meaningful engagement.

This year held special meaning as Huda proudly celebrated its 35-year journey - a legacy born and nurtured in the heart of central Vietnam. From a striking booth marked “Since 1990” to a commemorative Huda medal at the symbolic 35 km milestone, every touchpoint along the race paid tribute to Huda’s enduring bond with the place it calls home.

This year’s race was not only a celebration of movement but also a powerful tribute to a brand that has stood beside the people of central Vietnam for 35 years.

Runners had the chance to experience Hue in a deeply immersive way—passing through ancient streets, discovering cultural depth, and soaking in the proud spirit of the Central region. At the finish line, they were welcomed not only with applause and camaraderie, but with a cold Huda beer—a symbol of resilience and warmth that has stood the test of time.

More than a race - a journey of connection

For Carlsberg Vietnam, the marathon was more than a brand platform - it became a living expression of unity, wellness, and purpose. Nearly 100 employees, spanning departments and cities, joined the run across all distances, including managing director Andrew Khan, who ran alongside the team.

Beyond the finish line: Wellness as a way of life

The VnExpress Marathon Hue is just one chapter in Carlsberg Vietnam’s larger wellness journey. With a people-first culture at its core, the company invests year-round in programs that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

In 2024, Carlsberg launched “Carlsberg Champion”, a nationwide internal sports tournament that brought teams together across regions, reinforcing bonds while promoting an active lifestyle. From regular fitness activities to mental health support and meaningful team building, wellness at Carlsberg Vietnam isn’t a one-off event - it’s a mindset embedded in everyday life.

It has also contributed to the Carlsberg Group’s inclusion on Forbes’ World’s Best Employers list from 2021 to 2024 - a reflection of our dedication to building a workplace where people are empowered to thrive.

Brewing for a better future

"Our commitment to well-being goes far beyond an annual event,” Andrew Khan shared. “We are committed to creating a workplace where people are empowered to live healthier, more fulfilling lives every day. Together with our employees, we’re not just brewing beer -we’re brewing a better, brighter future.”

As colleagues crossed the finish line to cheers and high-fives, it wasn’t just a race completed - it was a shared milestone in Carlsberg Vietnam’s journey to build a stronger, more connected company culture. With every stride, every shared moment, and every toast with Huda, the company reaffirmed its purpose: to grow with its people and create meaningful impact in the communities it serves.
