Quang Ngai province seeks investment capital for 34 projects

The central Vietnam province of Quang Ngai has released a list of 34 projects in need of investments for the 2024-2025 period.

Among these, four projects are in the healthcare sector, five in the service and tourism sector, six involving the environment, 10 in urban infrastructure, services and commerce, six in industrial park and industrial cluster infrastructure, and three in industrial production.

The heathcare projects include a 5-hectare general hospital in the Chau O-Binh Long Urban Area, Binh Son district, and a 7-hectare general hospital in the north of Quang Ngai town, capital of the province.

In the service and tourism sector, the projects include the 491-hectare Bui Hui cultural and eco-tourism complex in Ba Trang commune, Ba To district; the 52-hectare Sa Huynh cultural and eco-tourism complex in Duc Pho township; the 1,700-hectare An Khe lagoon tourism complex in the same township; and the 1,286-hectare Ca Dam eco-tourism area in Tra Bong district.

Regarding the environmental field, Quang Ngai province is calling for investment in the 17-hectare Tinh Phong power generation and household waste treatment plant in Tinh Phong district, a 65-hectare integrated waste treatment complex in Binh Son district, the 18-hectare Duc Pho domestic solid waste treatment complex, and a 120-hectare cemetery in Tinh An Dong commune, Quang Ngai town.

The projects in the fields of commerce, service and urban infrastructure include the 270-hectare Northern Chu Lai Airport service and urban area (including a 40ha logistics and service area for the airport); the 760-hectare Ly Son new urban area in Ly Son district; the 1,445-hectare Southeastern Dung Quat-North new urban area; and the 1.552-hectare Southeastern Dung Quat-South new urban area, all in Binh Son district.

In the field of industrial park and industrial cluster infrastructure, the projects are the 1,287-hectare Binh Thanh service, urban and industrial project in Binh Son district; the 342-hectare Binh Hoa-Binh Phuoc I industrial park in the same district; the 765-hectare Dung Quat II service, urban and industrial park in Son Tinh district; and the 276-hectare An Phu industrial park in Tu Nghia district.

The industrial production projects include the textiles and garments, footwear, food and beverages, and mechanics, covering a total of 1,100 hectares in Binh Son and Son Tinh districts.
