The projects were introduced at a conference titled “Strategic Connection – Shared Vision – Breakthrough Transformation,” at Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park in the northern city of Hai Phong.

This event formed part of the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival Nam Cau Kien 2026, aiming to share visions and create a space for businesses to meet, connect, and explore cooperation opportunities.

Dong Phu Eco-Industrial Park has a total area of approximately 234 hectares, with a total investment of nearly VND4 trillion ($152.13 million).

The industrial park benefits from convenient transportation connectivity, located near National Highway 91B and major expressways such as Ho Chi Minh City-Can Tho-Ca Mau and Chau Doc-Can Tho-Soc Trang.

It also provides easy access to Cai Cui Port, Tran De Port, and Can Tho International Airport, creating favorable conditions for logistics and export activities.

Dong Phu Eco-Industrial Park aims to attract industries such as agricultural, seafood and food processing; manufacturing of equipment, machinery, and electrical-electronic products; production of energy-saving products; logistics and supply chain services; and supporting industries and high-tech industries.

With its strategic location and orientation toward an eco-industrial park model, Dong Phu is expected to become a new industrial-processing-logistics hub of the Mekong Delta region, contributing to enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products and promoting green and sustainable economic development.

During the conference, Dong Phu Industrial Park JSC signed a consulting service agreement with Dream Incubator Southeast Asia (DI SEA), a strategic consulting unit under Japan’s Dream Incubator Group.

This cooperation is expected to help the Dong Phu Eco-Industrial Park project access international standards in planning and developing eco-industrial parks, while expanding its network with international investors.

In addition to Dong Phu Eco-Industrial Park, Shinec is gradually expanding the eco-industrial development model to the Central Highlands with the Dak Doa Eco-Industrial Cluster project.

The project covers approximately 75 hectares, with a planned total investment of VND435.8 billion ($16.57 million), and is oriented to develop according to an eco-industrial cluster model associated with circular economy principles and ESG standards.

According to the development orientation, Dak Doa will focus on attracting industries such as agricultural and forestry product processing; manufacturing equipment and tools for agriculture and forestry; supporting industries for the agricultural value chain; and logistics and production support services.

The establishment of the Dak Doa Eco-Industrial Cluster is expected to enhance the processing value of agricultural products in the Central Highlands, while creating a new production and service hub aligned with the agricultural advantages of Gia Lai province and the region.

At the event, Shinec Gia Lai JSC signed an agreement with Agribank – Dong Hai Phong branch on credit provision to implement the project, and another agreement with NCK Land JSC to promote and attract investment into the Dak Doa Eco-Industrial Cluster.

Pham Hong Diep, chairman of Shinec, stated that in the new stage of development, industrial parks should not only be places for production but must become sustainable economic ecosystems. “We aim to build eco-industrial parks associated with the circular economy, where businesses can develop harmoniously with the environment and the community,” he said.

Diep added that the Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park model in Hai Phong has initially proven effective by forming industrial symbiosis chains among enterprises within the park.

Building on that foundation, Shinec is continuing to expand eco-industrial parks in various localities, including Tien Thanh Industrial Park, An Thi Industrial Cluster, Dong Phu Industrial Park, and others in Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, and Khanh Hoa provinces, aiming to develop green and sustainable industrial centers.
