Taiwan’s Cooler Master gets nod for $125 mln additional investment in northern Vietnam
Taiwan-headquartered Cooler Master, a global computer hardware giant, especially in cooling devices, will invest an additional $125 million in the northern province of Bac Ninh, according to a project report.
Cooler Master received an investment registration certificate last month, as also an adjustment to the project’s first license granted in October 2023. As a result, the company will raise its investment in the province to $200 million.

Covering 10 hectares at the Gia Binh Industrial Park, the project is set to complete work on its first and second factories in the third quarter of 2025, recruit workers and enter trial production in Q4/2025, and commence commercial production in Q1/2026.
The second phase will build the third and fourth factories in Q3/2027, install equipment and recruit workers in Q4/2027, and enter official production in Q1/2028.
The first phase will have an annual capacity of four million cooling devices for AI-powered servers and AI-power machine learning servers, 159,500 water-power cooling devices for graphics cards, 6.7 million water-powered cooling devices for personal computers and gaming computers, and 6,160 liquid-powered cooling devices for data centers.
The second phase will have an annual capacity of 5.3 million cooling devices for AI-powered servers and AI-power machine learning servers, 265,900 water-power cooling devices for graphics cards, 13.5 million water-powered cooling devices for personal computers and gaming computers, and 14,200 liquid-powered cooling devices for data centers.
