The Investor’s charity golf tournament tees off
The second edition of a charity golf tournament themed “Investors' golden heart” held by The Investor and its Vietnamese-language sister Nhadautu.vn took place Saturday.

As many as 144 golfers participated in the tournament at the Royal Golf Course in the northern province of Ninh Binh.
Contributions collected at the event will be used to grant scholarships to students who have achieved outstanding grades throughout the country despite suffering hardships.
The tournament also served as a networking venue for investors, businesspeople, managers, and media practitioners.
The event has drawn attention and contributions from golfers nationwide, including investors, said Editor-in-chief of The Investor/Nha dau tu Nguyen Anh Tuan at the teeing off ceremony.

After the success of the first edition in October 2022, registrations for this year’s edition exceeded the limit of 140.
Besides last year's sponsors, more contributors stepped in this year, Tuan said, thanking them for their good deeds and companionship.
The first edition, held in collaboration with carmaker Hyundai TC Motor, raised VND500 million ($20,500) for charity.
The tournament was abided by R&A and USGA rules, offering a total prize value of more than VND2 billion ($82,400), including two hole-in-one prizes: A Hyundai Santafe 2.2 Premium worth VND1.2 billion ($49,440) from Hyundai TC Motor and a set of 4-star Daiwa golf clubs from golf shop chain 7Golf.
