TTC Group chairman’s daughter to helm agri arm TTC AgriS
Dang Huynh Uc My, vice chairwoman of agricultural firm Thanh Thanh Cong-Bien Hoa JSC (TTC AgriS), was appointed chairwoman of the company on Sunday, replacing her mother Huynh Bich Ngoc.
The company is a subsidiary of TTC Group, a major multi-sector conglomerate in Vietnam. My is the daughter of Ngoc and TTC Group chairman Dang Van Thanh.

TTC AgriS, listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange as SBT, said in a statement that the new appointment represents a transfer of power between the two generations that will strengthen the company's internal strength towards meeting the revenue target of VND60 trillion ($2.36 billion) by 2030.
Ngoc was elected as a TTC AgriS board member for the 2019-2024 term on July 12, 2019 and appointed chairwoman on October 28, 2019. Accordingly, her term as a board member ended on July 12. Therefore, starting July 13, she is no longer a board member and cannot continue as chairwoman.
The former chairwoman will serve as senior advisor to the board of directors. With more than 40 years of experience in the agricultural industry, she has greatly contributed to making TTC AgriS the leading agricultural company in Vietnam.
Ngoc had resigned as chairwoman of Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (TTC Land), a real estate arm of TTC Group, listed on the HoSE as SCR, last April.
My, as vice chairwoman, was a key leader for TTC AgriS in the digital transformation race to become a multinational high-tech agricultural enterprise.
She has more than 17 years of experience in the fields of agriculture, management, finance and technology.
My has also played a key role in expanding the scale of raw material areas in major sugar capitals in the world, making TTC AgriS a strategic partner in a sugarcane farming project using 4.0 technology in Australia’s Queensland state.
She also helped TTC AgriS successfully mobilize $80 million in foreign capital last May, and $40 million from the Global Warehouse Financing Program (GWFP) in June 2023.
Her appointment as new chairwoman of TTC AgriS takes the company forward in realizing its strategic direction, focusing on sustainable development and expanding its global market.
Under TTC AgriS's strategic plan, by 2030, its products will be based on the three pillars of traceability, nutrition and sharing. The AgriS value chain will be integrated on a single information technology platform to optimize operations and business governance in line with international standards.
In the stock market, SBT closed Friday at VND12,350 ($0.49) per share.
