VAFIE partners with UK accountants association on human resources development
The Vietnam’s Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE) and the UK’s Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation in human resources development.
Under the agreement signed on Wednesday, the parties will work together to enhance skills and job opportunities for their members, while also organizing manpower development programs for business members.

ACCA also wants to strengthen bilateral collaboration in organizing events to improve financial, accounting, auditing and management skills among members of both sides.
Speaking at the event, Pulkit Abrol, managing director of ACCA for Asia Pacific, highlighted the significant role VAFIE plays within the foreign and domestic business community. He said with the new partnership, ACCA hopes to implement specific programs and events in the near future.
Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, permanent vice chairman of VAFIE, expressed optimism that the partnership would lead to practical support for members, with specific joint events expected to be held in the near future.
Regarding the accounting and auditing sectors, Dr. Tuan hoped that ACCA would share its expertise and knowledge with VAFIE member enterprises in particular, and with both domestic and foreign enterprises in general. This collaboration, he noted, would be an important step towards helping Vietnam upgrade its stock market in the near future.
