The list, based on accommodation searches made on Agoda for September and October, has been unveiled ahead of International Beach Day to be celebrated on September 1.

The Agoda rankings showcase a diverse array of beach destinations that cater to various preferences, from serene retreats to vibrant beach parties. Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines each boast two destinations in the top 10, underscoring their popularity among beachgoers.

Indonesia's Bali takes the top spot as its popularity continues to grow as Agoda recorded an 11% increase in Bali-related accommodation searches compared to the same period last year.

The other most searched beach destinations in Asia include Japan’s Okinawa, Thailand’s Pattaya and Phuket, South Korea’s Jeju, Malaysia’s Penang, the Philippines’s Boracay Island and Cebu.

These destinations offer a mix of activities, from water sports and nightlife to cultural experiences and relaxation.

Andrew Smith, senior vice president for supply at Agoda, commented: “With the monsoon season drawing to a close in many parts of Asia, travelers are eagerly anticipating the sun, sand, and sea. Asia boasts some of the world's most stunning beaches, and International Beach Day is the perfect time to celebrate these coastal treasures.”

Danang city has several beaches such as My Khe, Non Nuoc, Phuoc My, and Tien Sa. It has been rated as the most livable city in Vietnam for years. It is also known for the Golden Bridge that has gone viral worldwide.

Nha Trang is a coastal town and the administrative center of Khanh Hoa province. Its greatest lure is a sandy beach facing a stunning bay dotted with 19 islands and islets. Hon Tre Island can be accessed by aerial cable cars, and the nature reserves of Hon Mun and Hon Tam islands, reachable by boat, have coral reefs.
