Vinhomes subsidiary plans $35 mln golf course in northern Vietnam
A subsidiary of leading housing developer Vinhomes (HoSE: VHM) plans to build a VND886.5 billion ($35 million) golf course in Vietnam’s northern coastal province of Quang Ninh.
According to an environmental impact assessment report, Thai Son Investment Construction Corporation has proposed building the Quang Hanh golf course project in Cam Pha town.

The development will feature a 21-hole golf course along with auxiliary infrastructure including staff accommodations, public service facilities, internal roads, and parking lots. The golf course will occupy 96.1% of the project site.
Construction is expected to take 24 months, and the facility will be licensed to operate for 50 years.
Quang Ninh currently has three active golf courses: FLC golf club and Tuan Chau golf course in Ha Long town, and Mong Cai international golf course in Mong Cai town. Two other courses, Dong Trieu and Ao Tien in Van Don Economic Zone, are under construction.
Under the provincial master plan, Quang Ninh is allowed to develop 16 additional golf courses, with proposed sites including An Bien (Ha Long), Quang Hanh (Cam Pha), Dao Ngoc Vung, and Quan Lan.
Quang Ninh is home to the UNESCO-recogized Ha Long Bay, a world-renowned tourist destination. In the first five months of this year, the province welcomed over 10 million tourist arrivals, up 18% year-on-year, according to the local tourism watchdog.
In 2025, the northern province aims for 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million foreign travelers.
