10 Vietnamese resorts, hotels win Asia's best luxury award
Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort, Caravelle Saigon Hotel, and Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay are three of 10 hotels, resorts honored at the 16th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards 2022 in Asia.
Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort
Almanity Hoi An Wellness Resort received Asia's Luxury Wellness Resort title.
Located only a short walk from the renowned ancient town of Hoi An, the resort reflects the essence of cultural heritage in its architecture while adding a modern twist.

Almanity Hoi An is 700 meters from Hoi An Historic Museum and one kilometer from the ancient town of Hoi An and Hoi An central market. An Bang Beach is three kilometers from the property while Danang International Airport is 22 kilometers away.
Caravelle Saigon Hotel
Caravelle Saigon Hotel was awarded Asia's Luxury City Hotel title.
Located in central District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, the hotel is a short walk to iconic landmarks and locations, including Saigon Municipal Theatre, also known as the Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral, historic Dong Khoi street, modern Nguyen Hue walking street, and the legendary Ben Thanh Market.

Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay in Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island off the southern coast, was awarded Asia's Luxury Resort title.
Bai Dai Beach is 1.4 kilometers from Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay, while Vinpearl Land Phu Quoc is 3.3 kilometers away. The nearest airport is Phu Quoc International, 28 kilometers from the accommodation, with the property offering a free airport shuttle service.
Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay is a premium contemporary address featuring 308 stylish rooms, suites and villas. It also features two distinctive restaurants, namely Horizons Restaurant-Lounge-Bar and Amber Sands Beach Club, Hoa Sim Spa, an art gym, two swimming pools, and events rooms.
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort received Asia's Luxury Ocean View Resort title.
The resort takes 45 minutes from Danang International Airport to reach. Cham Museum is 25 kilometers away, while Hue Imperial Citadel, ancient town Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary, all popular UNESCO world heritage sites, are about 45 kilometers from the facility.
Its recreational options include cycling, fishing and hiking. Alternatively, guests can request a pampering massage and body treatments at the spa. There is also a modern fitness center on site.
In early October, the resort was voted among the world’s 50 best by readers of U.S. travel magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills
Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills was awarded Asia's Luxury Moutain Hotel title.
At 1,487 meters above sea level, Mercure Danang is graced with a stunning view of the surrounding natural landscapes and the vibrant city of Danang below. The hotel’s design is inspired by 19th century Gothic architecture.
It is known for gorgeously styled architecture, luxurious French colonial rooms, state-of-the-art amenities, and spectacular setting in the picturesque Bana Hills mountain range.
Mercure Vung Tau
Mercure Vung Tau received Asia's Luxury Beach Hotel title.
Mercure Vung Tau features a private beach area, restaurant, bar, fitness center and garden. It is close to several noted attractions, around 100 meters from Pineapple Beach, less than one kilometers from Back Beach and an eight-minute walk from Nghinh Phong Cape, according to Booking.com.
Front Beach is 2.3 kilometers from the accommodation, while White Palace is 4.2 kilometers away. The nearest airport is Vung Tau Airport, seven kilometers away.
Novotel Danang Premier Han River
Novotel Danang Premier Han River scored Asia's Luxury Family All-Inclusive Hotel title.
Situated on the west bank of Han River in Danang, this 37-storey hotel features modern rooms just one kilometer from Danang Railway Station and two kilometers from Danang International Airport.

PARKROYAL Saigon
PARKROYAL Saigon was awarded Asia's Luxury Airport Hotel title.
"Parkroyal Saigon is a five-minute drive from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It offers modern, air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre and outdoor pool," Booking.com writes.
"Garden Brasserie serves local and international dishes. The Lobby Lounge and Lotus Bar offer a selection of snacks and signature cocktails and wines," it added.
Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh
Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh received Asia's Luxury Honeymoon Resort title.
Situated on the beautiful coastline of Cam Ranh Bay, Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh offers guests a restful retreat by the sea. Lush, landscaped grounds are fringed by the white sands of Bai Dai Beach, where you can enjoy the sun, surf and resort services.
Nha Trang is 32 kilometers from the accommodation. The nearest airport is Cam Ranh International, seven kilometers from Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh, with the property offering a paid airport shuttle service.
Shilla Monogram Quangnam Danang
Shilla Monogram Quangnam Danang was awarded Asia's Luxury Coastal Resort title.
