Taiwan-headquartered electronics manufacturer Wistron, a supplier to Apple, is set to invest $45 million more in its factory in Vietnam’s northern province of Ha Nam, raising the total investment to $363.9 million.

According to the investment certificate granted to the firm in May, also the sixth amendment, Wistron will invest in its 23.1-hectare plant in Dong Van III industrial park.

Wistron will itself pour $135 million into the project and mobilize the rest from other sources by April 2025. Of the $135 million, Wistron completed a $90-million portion in October 2023.
