Central Vietnam's My Khe among Asia's 10 top beaches
My Khe Beach in Danang city, central Vietnam was ranked eighth in the list of Asia's top 10 beaches by the world's largest travel platform TripAdvisor.
About five kilometers from the city center, popular beach My Khe runs 10 kilometers from the base of Son Tra Peninsula to Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son).
My Khe Beach is famous for its blue sky, smooth white sand, gentle slope, clear and warm water year round and beautiful areas surrounded by coconut trees.
In 2021, the beach was named among the top 25 in Asia by TripAdvisor readers. My Khe gained international attention when it was named among Asia's top 10 beaches in 2012 by Australian newspaper The Sunday Herald Sun.
The beach is a mere 15-minute ride from the city center. Its waters are quite cool with little waves so you can swim all year round, especially in summer from May to August.
The other beaches in the list in order are: Radhanagar Beach (India), Kelingking Beach (Indonesia), Benaulim Beach (India), Mirissa Beach (Sri Lanka), Nai Harn Beach (Thailand), Kata Noi Beach (Thailand), Yonaha Maehama Beach (Japan), Chaweng Beach (Thailand), and Haeundae Beach (South Korea).
