The project will install eight production lines for wind turbine blades measuring 110 meters in length, with a design capacity of 480 sets a year. It can make blades of up to 150m in length.
In a meeting with company representatives on Wednesday, Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, said he supports Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co. to implement this project.
"Khanh Hoa is one of the energy centers of the country, featuring wind and solar power. Choosing Khanh Hoa to manufacture wind turbine blades is a right choice," he said.
The vice chairman acknowledged the investor's opinions and recommendations related to the National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 (Power Plan VIII); procedures for granting investment certificates; transporting wind turbine blades; tax and customs mechanisms and policies including preferential policies for foreign investors; and procedures for exporting and importing wind turbine blades.
Hoang affirmed that Khanh Hoa province is ready to create favorable conditions for the investor to execute the project.
The people's committee will assign the Department of Finance and related agencies to work with the investor to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles arising during the project implementation process.
Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited. Headquartered in Beijing, the multi-sector CRRC has 46 wholly-owned and majority-owned subsidiaries with over 170,000 employees.
