‘Investors’ golden heart’ charity golf tournament to tee off on October 5
About 150 golfers are expected to participate in the third edition of the “Investors' golden heart” tournament jointly organized by The Investor and carmaker Hyundai TC Motor on October 5.
The tournament will take place at the Queen Course in the northern province of Ninh Binh, about 94 kilometers south of Hanoi.
The annual tournament aims to connect domestic and international investors and promote the spirit of mutual support.
The previous editions held in 2022 and 2023 succeeded in raising over VND1 billion ($40,540) to provide scholarships and gifts to underprivileged students and those in difficult circumstances across the country.
Pham Duc Son, editor-in-chief of The Investor and head of the tournament organizing committee, said the funds raised from this year's edition will be used to support residents in northern provinces hardest hit by super typhoon Yagi.
Participation fee for the tournament, which will follow R&A and USGA rules, is VND3 million ($122) per golfer.
Among many attractive prizes, participants will have the chance to win a Hyundai Santafe SUV as the Hole-in-One (HIO) prize.
The Investor has prioritized social charity activities since its inception. Each year, the entity collaborates with various benefactors to provide thousands of gifts and scholarships to those in need across the country.
