Southern Vietnam province Tay Ninh okays many high-tech agri projects

Tay Ninh authorities recently granted in-principle approvals to a string of high-tech agricultural projects, paving the way for significant development opportunities in the southern province.

Among them are those in the field of high-tech agriculture, including a 195-hectare project by Tay Ninh Banana Import-Export and Production JSC in Suoi Day commune, Tan Chau district; and a 200-hectare project by Toan Thang International Import-Export JSC in the same commune. Another is a 162-hectare project by Tay Ninh Organic Agriculture JSC in the same commune.

The Tay Ninh People's Committee also okayed a 25-hectare pork processing and slaughtering facility by BAF Tay Ninh Food Processing Company Limited, and two 65-hectare, high-rise pig farms equipped with air filtration and deodorization technology, to be developed by BAF Tay Ninh 1 and BAF Tay Ninh 2 high-tech livestock companies.

A commercial duck farming project using mesh flooring, proposed by Vu-Dung Company Limited in Ninh Dien commune, Chau Thanh district, also received an in-principle approval.

The remaining two projects are a high-quality inter-level education complex in Bau Nang commune, Duong Minh Chau district and a golf course project in the Ben San urban area, Go Dau district.

According to Nguyen Dinh Xuan, deputy director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, all investors have pledged to carry out their projects according to the approved timelines. “If investors fail to meet the committed schedule within the designated period, the projects will be revoked,” he stated.

Tay Ninh and Long An provinces were recently merged to estalish the new Tay Ninh province.
