Tax firm, Vietnam Financial Times ink information dissemination pact
Accounting and tax consultancy firm Trong Tin and online publication Vietnam Financial Times have officially signed a cooperation agreement for effective coordination and information sharing.
Pham Thu Phong, editor-in-chief of Vietnam Financial Times, said at the signing ceremony Friday that the publication’s success was the result of work by the editorial board and reporters as well as significant contributions from leading economists and tax experts.
Trong Tin, in particular, has worked for long with the Times to inform people of vital tax policies and laws. Official cooperation will boost communication, promotion and the dissemination of policies and regulations to the business community and society as a whole, he said.
Nguyen Van Duoc, general director of Trong Tin Accounting and Tax Consulting Co., Ltd., said that his company has been privileged to receive the trust and support of agencies and hundreds of media outlets – newspapers and television channels including Vietnam Television (VTV), HCMC Television (HTV), Long An Television, Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Voice of HCMC’s People (VOH).
These outlets have published thousands of articles on tax policies and his firm has participated in this activity with advice and criticism, he said.
“In particular, Vietnam Financial Times, the Ministry of Finance's mouthpiece, a prominent and leading daily on economics and finance in the country, has worked closely with Trong Tin. The Times is also an excellent bridge that expresses the voice of the business community on hundreds of common and vital tax laws, and this has been well-received by both readers and businesses," Duoc said.
Per the new cooperation agreement, the two sides will work together to promote tax policies and laws through Vietnam Financial Times, including the "Consulting Expert" and "Studio Dialogue" features in the Tax-Customs Newsletter. They will also coordinate, support and collaborate in planning events like public discussions and forums on various topics.
