The 74.5-hectare Tan Phu 1 and 56.5-hectare Tan Phu 2 industrial clusters have the respective investment of VND486 billion ($19.55 million) and VND403 billion.

With their prime locations in Dong Cao and Tan Phu communes of Pho Yen town, the two facilities are only 30 minutes from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, and two hours from Cai Lan deep-water seaport in Quang Ninh province and Dinh Vu seaport in Haiphong city.

The 30.4-hectare Luong Son industrial cluster with an investment of VND300 billion ($12.07 million) is located in Song Cong town of the province, which has easy access to Hanoi, Haiphong city, and Lang Son border gate connecting with China.

Commencing operation in late 2023, the three facilities are expected to develop green and smart logistics clusters, regionalize the supply chain, and attract investments with high added value, modern technology, and technology transfer.

At the event, Saigontel signed an agreement with Sea Logistics Limited, a developer of industrial logistics and facilities, to build a ready-built factory and ready-built warehouse for hire. It also signed a memorandum of understanding with VietinBank to provide banking services to the facilities.

Thai Nguyen, an industrial hub in northern Vietnam, currently has seven industrial parks and one information-technology park covering 2,600 hectares, and 35 industrial clusters covering 1,335 hectares, said the provincial People's Committee

Thai Nguyen’s Index of Industrial Production rose 12% year-on-year in the first 10 months of this year, driven by the mining sector with a growth of 20.4%, manufacturing and processing 12.5%, water supply and treatment of waste and wastewater 8.8%, said the provincial statistics office.

Thai Nguyen is home to Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (SEVT) which runs two electronics factories.
