Vietnam benchmark VN-Index closes in the red for 4th session
The VN-Index, which represents the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), fell 10.60 points, or 0.8%, to 1,306 on Monday, making its four-session losing streak.

The trading value on the major bourse increased by 24% to nearly VND21.21 trillion ($829 million).
The market sank into the red, with up to 320 stocks declining and only 135 rising. The VN30-Index, which tracks the performance of the 30 largest-capped stocks, lost 10.05 points, or 0.73%, to 1,363.88, with 20 stocks plunging. Of which, GVR of the Vietnam Rubber Group hit its floor price.
Other tickers in the rubber group such as DPR of Dong Phu Rubber and PHR of Phuoc Hoa Rubber also suffered maximum declines.
BCM of Becamex Investment and Industrial Development went down 3.6%, while MSN of retail conglomerate Masan Group dropped 2.5%.
Meanwhile, eight blue chips gained. MBB of lender MBBank rose 0.8%, TPB of private TPBank closed 0.7% higher, and VNM of dairy giant Vinamilk went up 0.5%.
Foreign investors remained net sellers to the tune of VND1.28 trillion ($50.05 million), tripling the amount of the previous session. They mainly net sold FPT of tech giant FPT Corporation and VNM.
The HNX-Index on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, home to mid and small caps, fell 1.32%, while the UPCoM-Index on the Unlisted Public Companies Market went down 0.61%.
