Vietnam gasoline price hiked after 3 consecutive drops
Retail gasoline prices in Vietnam increased by VND350-490 ($0.02) per liter on Monday, the first hike after three consecutive drops since mid April.

RON 95-III gasoline went up to VND21,490 ($0.92) per liter, while E5 RON 92 hit VND20,480 ($0.87).
Diesel oil climbed by VND300 to VND17,950 ($0.76), but kerosene fell by VND10 to VND17,960 ($0.77) a liter.
For this price adjustment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to maintain the level of deductions from different types of gasoline and oil for the national gasoline price stabilization fund.
Consumer prices in April fell 0.34% from March, according to the General Statistics Office. The reasons are food prices falling due to abundant supply, and tuition fees in some localities being revised down according to the government's Resolution No. 165/NQ-CP.
Average consumer prices in the first four months of this year rose 3.84% from a year earlier.
