Danish wind power giant COP opens Hanoi office
Denmark’s Copenhagen Offshore Partners, a global leader in offshore wind development, has launched a new office in Hanoi during Danish Crown Prince Frederik’s working visit to Vietnam on November 1-3.

The company, or COP, is the wind power development and construction unit of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), one of the world’s largest fund managers of investments in green energy infrastructure. Copenhagen-headquartered CIP has offices in the U.S., the UK, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, South Korea, and Vietnam.
Both CIP and COP entered the Vietnamese market in 2019 to tap the country’s offshore wind potential. Stuart Livesey, COP’s Vietnam country manager, said his new office in Hanoi would support its expanding operations in the country.
Livesey is also CEO of La Gan Offshore Wind Power Company, the developer of the 3.5 gigawatt La Gan project in Binh Thuan province, south-central Vietnam. The Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners-invested project would cost about $10.5 billion or so to build.
