MB on Monday participated in a seminar jointly organized by the General Department of Taxation and the Government Information and Communications Center, to provide updates on tax regulations and e-invoicing requirements for businesses and household merchants nationwide.
MB said it was the only commercial bank participating in the event as an implementation partner, underscoring its efforts to help businesses adapt to increasingly digital and multi-channel business operations.
The introduction of the new tax and electronic invoicing rules is expected to require household businesses to improve revenue transparency, cash flow management, and tax compliance. At the same time, digital transformation is creating opportunities for businesses to standardize operations, strengthen governance, and improve long-term competitiveness.

At the seminar, the bank introduced a suite of digital financial services designed to help merchants manage cash flow, payments, transaction reconciliation and financing through a single digital platform. Branded under the slogan "Trade with Confidence", the platform aims to simplify financial management while supporting compliance with the new regulatory requirements.
The package includes a free cash flow management tool that allows users to monitor sales transactions, access and download bank statements for up to 12 months, and track revenue in real time. MB said the service is intended to help business owners reconcile transactions more efficiently and prepare information required for tax reporting.

MB also announced a "Five Zero-Fee" policy for household businesses, offering no lifetime service fees, no hidden charges, no minimum balance requirement, no time limit on the program, and no cap on the number of eligible customers. MB said the initiative is designed to reduce operating costs and encourage long-term adoption of digital banking services.
The seminar also brought together government officials, industry experts, and businesses to discuss the implementation of the new tax and electronic invoicing regulations and share practical experience in applying digital technology to business management and e-commerce.
Pham Thi Mai Anh, deputy director of MB's digital banking division, said the new tax rules present challenges for household businesses in areas such as tax filing, invoice management and cash flow transparency, but also provide an opportunity to modernize operations and accelerate digital transformation.
