Multi-sector conglomerate T&T Group is developing a model eco-urban complex in Ha Tinh province and plans to build a massive 236-hectare urban area in neighboring Nghe An, with an aim to reshape north-central Vietnam's urban landscape.

Last Friday, the Vietnamese group, in coordination with the Ha Tinh People’s Committee, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Nam Cau Phu ecological villa, trade-service and urban area.

This flagship project is expected to become a new urban symbol, contributing to shaping a modern, green, and sustainable cityscape for the Lam Hong region.

With a total investment of nearly VND4 trillion ($151.87 million) and a land area of approximately 50 ha, the project had its investor approved by the provincial People’s Committee on May 6, 2020.

Located on National Highway 1A, with direct connectivity to the North-South Expressway, the coastal route and the Vung Ang deep-water seaport, the Nam Cau Phu urban area sits at a vital trade intersection in the north-central region.

Boasting a large area bordered on three sides by the Rao Cai River, the project is designed as a comprehensive and diversified development featuring commercial shophouses, townhouses, riverside villas, a high-standard hotel-entertainment-commercial center, and social housing.

Notably, with nearly 52% of the land dedicated to transportation infrastructure, public works, and green and water spaces, the project is expected to become a model of green, modern urban living and pioneer a new lifestyle trend in Ha Tinh.

As the first model ecological urban area in southern Ha Tinh, it blends global sophistication with the unique cultural essence of the local people - a community poised for strong development.

At the groundbreaking event, Mai Xuan Son, CEO of T&T Group, expressed his hope that the Nam Cau Phu project, once completed, will become a new landmark for Ha Tinh province, promoting a modern, sustainable, and culturally rich urban environment.

Recently, T&T Group has also proposed an ambitious new urban area project in Nghe An province, with a total investment of VND33.7 trillion ($1.28 billion) and a planned area of over 236 hectares across Hung Nguyen and Lam Thanh communes.

Previously, in March 2018, T&T Group and the Nghe An provincial People’s Committee had signed an MoU on investment cooperation for the 1/2000-scale subdivision plan for the Southwest Vinh Urban Area, spanning Hung Thinh, Hung My, Hung Phuc communes (now merged into Hung Nguyen and Lam Thanh communes). This plan was approved by the People’s Committee on January 20, 2022.

To accelerate the realization of this plan, T&T Group has proposed carrying out the Hung Nguyen Urban Area project, which aims to develop an urban area in accordance with land-use standards as outlined in the approved plan.

The proposed implementation period spans from 2025 to 2030, through a bidding process to select the investor, in accordance with Vietnam’s legal regulations on land-use project tenders.

To expedite the project’s execution, T&T Group has proposed the provincial People’s Committee direct relevant agencies to complete necessary procedures, allowing the group or its subsidiaries to submit an official investment proposal and participate in the investor selection process.

T&T Group has implemented a series of large-scale projects nationwide, such as T&T City Millennia (Can Giuoc, Long An province), T&T Victoria (Nghe An province), Phuoc Tho Residential Area (Vinh Long province), a mixed-use complex in An Giang province, a new urban area in Ca Mau province, the Pham Ngoc Thach No. 2 project (Hanoi), and a commercial-entertainment center in Hai Phong city, among others. Many more projects are being actively developed across key provinces and cities.

T&T Group's business involves finance-investment, real estate, energy, environment, trade, agriculture-forestry-fishery, infrastructure, and healthcare-education-sports.
