Earlier, the automobile arm of Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate Vingroup said it delivered 182 VF e34 and 412 VF 8 in November 2022, or 594 sport utility vehicles (SUV) in total.

VinFast attributed the growth in the number of delivered EVs, the highest-ever figure, to the stability of component supplies and optimization of its production lines.

VinFast officially dispatched its first EVs, C-class SUV VF e34s, to customers on December 25, 2021. The firm then handed over its first VF 8 on September 10, 2022. One of the first VF 8 to receive the model was Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam Kees van Baar.

VinFast delivered just five VF e34 models to customers in August 2022 due to a shortage of components, according to a company report.

VinFast started receiving pre-orders for the A-class SUV VF 5 Plus on December 10, 2022. Thanks to competitive prices of VND458-538 million ($19,530-22,940) for without and with battery editions, the firm took 3,293 pre-orders in nine hours. VinFast plans to deliver the first VF 5 Plus models to customers this April.

The EV producer is set to take pre-orders for the VF 6 and VF 7 models in the global market and deliver the seven-seater SUV VF 9 to customers from this March.

The first batch of 999 VF 8 electric vehicles manufactured by VinFast arrived in the U.S. on December 20, 2022, as the vessel Silver Queen docked at the Port of Benicia in California.T

The vehicles, which arrived after 26 days at sea from Vietnam, are the VF 8 City Edition, a limited edition for the U.S. to enable direct customer experience with VinFast vehicles.
