Northern Vietnam province urges VSIP to build 663 hectare high-tech park in 2025
Ha Nam province authorities has urged VSIP, the developer of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) facilities, to begin building a high-tech park in the northern province by end-2025.
Ha Nam Chairman Truong Quoc Huy made the suggestion at a Tuesday meeting with VSIP. The province will facilitate the project by developing surrounding traffic infrastructure, drafting a nearby social housing project to accommodate workers, and planning a river port for transportation of goods, he added.

Huy asked the provincial Department of Construction to cooperate with VSIP on details of the project, including draft supporting policies subject to the government’s approval.
He also called on VSIP to promote Ha Nam’s investment environment to Singaporean and global investors. Ha Nam will help businesses with workforce recruitment, security, and other support, he added.
Ha Nam High-Tech Park was approved by Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son in December 2024. The 663.2-hectare facility is the fifth of such a kind in Vietnam, after those in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang city, and Dong Nai province.
Ha Nam now has 12 available industrial parks of 3,458 hectares. The province has attracted $6.6 billion in registered FDI, including $345 million from Singaporean investors, local official data shows.
